Music 🎶
Without music, I’ll be dead from inside. I believe music reconnects us to nature.
- Eshgh Danad (Persian: عشق داند) by M.R. Lotfi & M.R. Shajarian: This is my favorite album for now.
- Baal Dar Baal (Persian: بال در بال) by M.R. Lotfi & Houshang Ebtehaj: One of a few albums I listen to regularly. It gives me a feeling of hope.
- I like some works by Frank Sinatra: Fly Me to the Moon, That’s Life, Killing Me Softly
- Everybody Knows by Leonard Cohen made me love him. I believe he spits some bitter facts in it.
Stand-ups 😄
Fact is a content. Comedy is a form. Merger of these two is strong enough to make me like it. A wise man once said: If you want to tell people a brutal fact, make them laugh alongside, or they’ll cut you in pieces.
- I started to like stand-ups since I watched George Carlin talking about religion on YouTube. I’ve got to say that I absolutely love all of his works, no exception.
- Tambourine by Chris Rock was also good.
- Louis CK’s Oh My God made me laugh, too. It was simple and honest.
